These bad boys are less than 10 minutes of active cooking and require very little effort. (Which, of course, we know I’m all about). There’s only 3 ingredients to worry about and EVERYONE loves them. Plus, I recently discovered that Fruity Pebbles are gluten free?? so that means even your diet restricted friends can enjoy these tasty treats now too!
…Unless they’re vegan. Because marshmallows are NOT vegan. Don’t make the same mistakes as me…
Anywho, they’re an easy go to dessert when it’s too hot to turn on the oven or when I’m simply to lazy to whip out something more extravagant. Lazy baking is my favorite baking, who’s with me? ✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼

Tools for your Rice Krispie Treats
Rice Krispie Treats are the most absolute perfect recipe for any baker at any level. Why? Because they’re so easy that a complete beginner can make these and because everyone loves the nostalgia of Rice Krispies that even pros enjoy making them.
But since they’re a super perfect recipe for beginners, there’s a chance that you might be just starting out… so it’s useful to know what materials you need.
But I gotchoo. It’s not like you need much for this recipe, but here are the things I use below.
9×9 pan (also great for these Perfect Fudgy Brownies)
Non-stick Spatula Set (I use these for almost every single recipe I make)
Some Colorful Mixing Bowls
Some Eco-friendly Responsible Parchment Paper
Tips for Perfect Fruity Pebble Rice Krispie Treats
To make the perfect Fruity Pebble Rice Krispie Treats, you really, really need to make sure that you press your Pebbles down. You want a well compacted square so that each bar actually holds together.
I’ve found that the best way to do this without getting everything super sticky, is to rub a little bit of butter on the back of a large metal serving spoon and press hard over the top.
Between the non-stick power of butter and the cooler temperature of your spoon compared to your melted marshmallows, it works really well.
And by lining your pan with parchment paper with about 1 inch hanging over each side, you give yourself handles to pull the treats out cleanly, smoothly and without any trouble.
Then you can easily cut your treats into pretty and clean bars without making deformed and sad bars because they got stuck in your pan.

Fruity Pebble Rice Krispie Treats
Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter unsalted
- 6 cups Fruity Pebbles
- 10 oz mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Grease a 9x9in baking pan lightly with butter and line with a piece of parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, melt your butter over medium heat. Once completely melted, add in your mini marshmallows. Using a silicone spatula (to prevent sticking) stir the marshmallows consistently until they are smooth.
- Add in your Fruity Pebbles and fold them into the marshmallows really well.
- Transfer the sticky mixture to your baking pan and press the cereal down. ** Make sure to really press it down to ensure that your treats hold together.
- All them to cool (I stuck my pan in the fridge for about 30 minutes). Remove them from the pan and cut them into squares.
