Why You’ll Love this Sunshine Smoothie
First of all, who wouldn’t enjoy a cup full of sunshine?
Secondly, it tastes like that tropical vacation you wish you could be on right now instead of staring out the window on this dreary spring morning.
But more importantly, this is likely to become one of you new favorite morning smoothies. It’s super hydrating and full of nutrients that are going to help you feel at your absolute best.
In fact, I’m going to make the super bold claim and suggest that this sunshine smoothie is better than coffee.

Sunshine Smoothie over Coffee?
Yeah, that’s right. I said it.
I’m going to let you in on a little secret. When you wake up in the morning, you’ve just gone (hopefully) approximately 8 hours without hydrating.
Being dehydrated results in feeling cranky, lethargic, and overall “meh”.
Which is also why so many of us reach for that magical bean water to fix all those problems. Great thinking…except for the fact that caffeine actually dehydrates you even more!
I’m not saying skip your coffee. Enjoy your bean water. But for the love of all that’s good in the world, hydrate yourself first.

Benefits of A Cup of Sunshine
And hydrating yourself with this sunshine smoothie is just a great idea.
Mangoes are chock full of nutrients that help improve digestion and immunity as well as some stabilized blood sugars.
Pineapple promotes tissue healing and has been found to stimulate your metabolism. It also helps fight inflammation in the body, therefore decreasing any stress your body is under.
Bananas also aid in digestion and as we know are full of potassium and other good nutrients.
Greek Yogurt gives you a healthy dose of protein (making the smoothie more filling) and also lots of probiotics which as we know are important for your gut and overall health.
Orange juice not only tastes good but is also full of vitamin C making it your best friend for any time you feel a bit under the weather.
Turmeric isn’t strong in flavor but it is great at helping reduce inflammation in the body as well as giving an extra yellow boost to this smoothie.

Recommended Materials for Your Sunshine Smoothie
Honestly, you don’t need much for a good smoothie, but what kind of friendly neighborhood blogger would I be if I didn’t share my favorite things with you?
A quality blender.
Of course any blender will due but bro, if you want ease and delicious simplicity for your smoothie making process, get yourself a good blender.
I have this fancy Ninja Blender and it’s honestly well worth the price with how many smoothies I make. It also works as my food processor and makes cookie dough and sauces like a boss. (Seriously so worth it).
Smoothie straws
These smoothie straws are also great for you and the environment. These are thicc straws designed for boba tea and thicker smoothies. They also come with a little carrier bag, meaning they’re great to take out and about with you too.
Cute Can Cups
And last but not least, I got a couple questions in my Instagram DMs asking where I got the cups I used for the photos of this smoothie, so I thought I’d share them here with you too!
I like them, they’re durable, trendy, and obviously super multi versatile. I haven’t broken any in the 6 months I’ve had them, and if you know me, that’s seriously impressive with how clumsy I am.
