Easy Apple Cider Mug Cake for Fall

This easy apple cider mug cake takes less than 5 minutes to make and tastes like fall. It's perfect for a quick dessert during movie night for kids and adults!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter (melted, unsalted)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour spoon and leveled
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 12 oz apple cider mix 1 packet
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Instructions

  • Melt your butter in your favorite microwave safe mug. Combine the melted butter, sugar, maple syrup and milk and whisk with a fork. Then add the egg.
  • *Make sure you do NOT add the egg until last so you don't accidentally cook it in the hot butter.*
  • Add all the other ingredients and whisk them until combined.
  • Cook in your microwave for 1 minute and 45 seconds. When it is done, the top will be set.
  • Drizzle with some more maple syrup. Top with ice cream, whipped cream, powdered sugar, and/or more sprinkles and enjoy!
